This “train the trainer” workshop will focus on how to best leverage Capsim’s microsimulation platform called CapsimInbox. This half-day workshop is designed for both new users and current users — all are welcome!

  • Articulate an evidence-based case for experiential learning 
  • Explain the science behind and educational value of CapsimInbox 
  • Describe the various ways CapsimInbox can be used in classrooms and across programs 
  • Apply “best practices” to promote active learning and long-term professional development 
  • Leverage robust data to support accreditation documentation 
  • Discuss how CapsimInbox can be customized to meet more specific curricular needs

Train the Trainer: Capstone & Foundation (Virtual)

Wednesday, May 19 - Friday, May 21

This three-day seminar will be delivered entirely online, with a heavy focus on participation. We want to provide you with the same in-depth training you are accustomed to receiving.

If you’re looking to expand your teaching methods using Capstone or Foundation, this experience will help you:

  • Hone your debriefing skills
  • Learn the ins and outs of our simulations
  • Uncover best practices and other tips
  • Network with your peers

In addition to the main session for all users, we’re also hosting the following optional half-day sessions:

  • Beginner Concepts – for users who are less familiar with our simulations and would like to move up the learning curve.
  • Advanced Concepts – for users who would like to learn advanced methodologies to maximize student development.
